Ruby Tuesday

Exciting news: I have purchased black Chelsea boots and had I known when I purchased them what I know now re my car and its failed MOT I might never have bought them, so its only sheer timing that has brought me and said Chelsea boots together.

These are the lovelies in question:

Further more and perhaps even better - my WAH Nails cherry was popped last night after a spur of the moment trip to Topshop Oxford Street took me quite by surprise. I purchased a fetching pair of shocking pink and black leopard nails. See here:

Delicious.

As for other news, not a great deal though I took the liberty of getting in touch with an old friend, one whom I haven't contacted for some two years. Well it was a heartwarmingly reassuring response resulting in a dinner date next Tuesday. Happiness, warmth and similar emotions overcome me.

Hurrah.

More later in the week farewell for now.

Roll On Home-Time

This weekend I will be mostly lusting after everything on sale at Drink, Shop and Do in Kings Cross. Everything looks how I'd like my living room to look, though not necessarily with all the customers in there. #obvs

http://www.drinkshopdo.com/ Plus they seem funny, crack jokes and even sell cocktails, what more could a gal want?

Having purchased my first flat in August, I've since been busy setting about furnishing the bottomless money-sucking pit and I am currently coveting anything that is G-Plan:

In particular a sideboard and/or sofa.

G-Plan Sofa:

G-Plan Sideboard:

If you're also on the look-out for this style at a purse friendly price - may I recommend Past Caring to you on the Essex Road in N1, who only on Saturday gone were selling similar G-Plan items for £400 / £200 respectively (Sofa/sideboard). You can also find tonnes on EBay though you usually have to pick up the items from the end of the earth which is tricky.

Day Two

After sleeping not a great deal I have woken up feeling like its a Monday, happily this is just an illusion of the mind as actually its Friday. This is a great day.

Plus I have a Muller Cherry Fruit Corner with which to start my morning. Observe the enticing red and white pools of yoghurty joy waiting to be devoured. Behold the 'loving close-up' in the words of the late great Keith Floyd:

Mmm. But enough of that. Today is pay day, that means aside from getting a photo in the local paper with my cheque and a bottle of fizzing bubbly, I have a wish list to wade through which includes the following items:

Red Nike Blazers

Black Chelsea Boots:

Brown Strap Ankle Boots:

Yes I have a problem - I can't buy 3 pairs of shoes this month, especially when 2 are essentually the same save for the colour and the addition of an ankle strap. But they are oh-so-perfect.

About Time Too

Today after too long I feel like actually getting down to the nitty gritty and posting on this as yet unstarted blog... I wager it will mostly be made up of things that make me smile or happy or laugh or expel some type of emotion.

Today the lilac hyacinths on my coffee table made me smile - they smell like Spring and with the wind gusting an icy gale today it can't come soon enough.

I also smiled when the washing machine spun so fast it flung the wine glass off the kitchen sink and sent it flying smashing into 100 pieces all over the floor. Getting a flake of glass in my foot - less smiley...

Lastly the wardrobe displayed by the brilliant character Mona Lisa Vito played by Marisa Tomei in 'My Cousin Vinny' is so completely amazing that she is my new fashionista idol.

Apologies Pauline Prescott but you've been replaced.
